How To Register To Vote.

Step 2:

Download the "Electoral registration form for someone with no fixed or permanent address" for either England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Irelend, print it and fill it in (Your local council office will provide you with a registration pack - address can be found in Step 3).

To avoid any delay in your registration being processed make sure the following details are completed correctly.
  • Your Full Name
  • Your date of birth
  • Your nationality
  • Your national insurance number
  • An address or place where you spend some of your time
  • You must sign and date the “Declaration” on the form
  • An email address (this is the quickest way to contact you if there are any questions)
  • A phone number (if possible)
  • A postal address if you can’t receive mail where you stay

  • Step 3:

    Return your form to the Electoral Registration Officer at your local council. You can search for your local council address here
